Description
Tornadoes are wicked and destructive yet rather fascinating. This 20″ Christensen Creations “Wicked Twister” wall hanging is both–dark in the center but beautiful in the colors and fabrics it twists in. Made with very simple blocks and a little easy paper-piecing, it’s a good beginner project with clear instructions and colored graphs. More experienced quilters could also use it as a large block for a bigger quilt.
This design is dedicated to the many victims of the 2019 Alabama tornadoes, one of which hit Libby Christensen’s home town.
