Description
I had picked up this interesting border fabric with pastel pumpkins. An interesting idea, especially the odd periwinkle ones! I decided I’d try designing a Thanksgiving lap quilt without using the normal harsh oranges. I purposely looked through my stash to find softer tones, and I stuck to squares and triangles because I know a lot of quilters prefer piecing to appliqué. I’m pleased with how it came out and sort of hope my sample doesn’t sell because the soft colors look good in MY family room, too.–Libby
