What a beautiful bag! The “Schooner or Later” appliqué, which sails against a blue sea and heavenly sky, is inserted into a specially made tote or can be used separately as a 12 1/2″ quilt block (OR even a super sweatshirt appliqué for a sailor.) Instructions include diagrams for internal patch and water bottle pockets as well as the templates for the appliqué. Many great hints are provided, too, regarding edge-stitching and applying optional piping to the tote, which can be made of canvas or quilt cotton–instructions for both!
